The above and below drawing sets represent samples from over 20 floors. Larger floors had to be divided into two sections on the CAD drawings, as seen in the example in the video below. The floor plan above illustrates the installed furniture layout and includes notes detailing client requests for day 2 revisions.

This floor plan was designed to highlight Haworth product. The furniture is labeled with tags to ensure accurate quantity counts and to enable all parties to cross-reference the floor plan with our product details.

The electrical plan details building access power locations, which were field-verified and cross-referenced with the engineers’ electrical plans to ensure compatibility. Building power was sourced from either a wall, column, or specified floor conduit track to reach the workstation infeed.

This electrical plan focuses on Haworth outlets. Engineering drawings were cross-referenced to determine the allowed number of triplex outlets per station cluster. By color-coding the drawing using Bluebeam, I was able to verify the required quantities and provide a clear visual guide for installers.

These drawing typicals and electrical details were specific to the height-adjustable workstations. In addition to space planning and specifying product, my role required an understanding of Haworth electrical systems and NYC infeeds to ensure compliance with building codes.

Utilizing height-adjustable tables with modesty panels, privacy screens, freestanding panels, accessories, and hardware required me to have an understanding of how all components work together seamlessly. These drawings were created for installers to identify the exact location of all pieces, allowing a streamlined process for them.

Each drawing displayed here was meticulously developed to fulfill the client's unique requirements. The typical workstations shown above served as foundational elements for their standardized setups, ultimately used across hundreds of workstations. Precise knowledge of dimensions and product placement was crucial for ensuring a seamless installation process.

The product shown above is designed for a private office. Developing these offices required creating multiple concept drawings to provide options for the client and narrow down their needs. Choosing an attached pedestal required additional research to custom-design the hardware to work with Haworth's tables. The finishes selected were COM (customer's own materials) to ensure that our product was cohesive with other finishes throughout the building.
